Equinox Block Party with Razzmajazz - Mount Vernon Music

Mount Vernon Music’s annual Gala fundraiser returns to MVM Hall on
Saturday, September 21 with an Equinox Block Party to kick off MVM’s
fourteenth season. The public is invited to savor the tastes and sounds of
New Orleans with the energetic music of the Razzmajazz Dixieland jazz
band and catered dinner by Chef Cristal Castillo. Well stocked beverage
stations will assure that no one is thirsty, and there will be an expertly
guided Scotch whisky tasting. Participants in a silent auction to benefit
MVM’s Youth Outreach and Scholarship programs will enjoy the
convenience of online bidding, and attendees can enter a drawing to win a
new pair of noise canceling headphones. Ticketholders are invited to meet
and mingle with appetizers and champagne from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Memberships in MVM start at $25 and support all the organization’s work,
including scholarships for young musicians and outreach work for schools
and seniors. Memberships are good for the year June 1 through May 31,
