“GO BIG RED!”

The Chapel Hill Education Foundation is very excited about our upcoming fundraising event, “GO BIG RED!”  We would like to invite you to be a part of helping Chapel Hill continue the rich tradition of improving the lives and education of children in Chapel Hill ISD.

On Friday, January 25, 2013, we will host our 8^th Annual Chicken Stew & Silent Auction in conjunction with our Homecoming Basketball Games.  It is sure to be an evening of good food, fellowship, fun, and fundraising!  Please make plans to join us throughout the evening beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel Hill Multi-Purpose Center.

 Stew tickets can be purchased from High School Students, as well as any Chapel Hill school office, for $5 each.  If you have an item you would like to donate for the auction, contact Stacy Ratliff at 903-717-1432 or sratliff@chisddevils.com.

This year’s raffle provides not one, but TWO chances to win an iPad Mini!  Our thanks to Pediatric Clinic, P.A. and East Texas Children’s Dentistry, P.A. for their generous contribution of the two iPad Minis.  Raffle tickets are also available from students or CHEF Board Members for $10 each. 

The CHEF is a non-profit corporation formed in 2003 to promote scholarships and provide financial support through grants to the Chapel Hill campuses for qualified educational projects.  Last year CHEF gave just under $20,000 in scholarships to CHHS graduating seniors, and awarded $2,000 to each of the three campuses in CHISD.  We are very grateful for our supportive community and hope to accomplish even more this year with funds raised.  But we can’t do it alone – we need your help!

Please plan to join us for “GO BIG RED!” on Friday, January 25.  Cheer loud for our teams and enjoy that famous chicken stew, chili and back by popular demand, homemade tamales!  Visit with friends, shop at the silent auction, support our community, & invest in our children’s future – you can’t miss!
